The jewelry is not actually sold by Lucky Magazine, the links provided at their website will take you to various other online vendors of jewelry who will negotiate the sale with you. The offers change each month and appear to sell out quite quickly so you really need to stay on top of it.

This month the jewelry offer was for a black diamond and 14K gold necklace by Mizuki. The necklace was 14 inches in length and was strung with black diamond and 14K gold beads. Original price of the necklace was $700 and the Lucky Magazine discount brought the price down to $560. Not a bad discount.

When I went to the site to test the purchasing procedure I was informed that the necklace was sold out but available via backorder. Certainly if you don't need the jewelry for a special occasion and the vendor honors all backorders this would be a great way to occasionally buy jewelry at a discount.

The same site had a gorgeous turquoise ring for sale that was showcased in Instyle magazine. This ring was also on backorder. The description of the ring stated it was sterling silver dipped in gold. Honestly, I have no idea what this means - maybe gold plate over sterling silver instead of a base metal.
