Transporting Jewelry

A couple of months ago I wrote an article that presented non-traditional ways to transport jewelry in your carry-on bag during airline travel. Here are two more traditional choices that are stylish and adaptable to any type of travel from bike to airplane.

Pottery Barn:

Very cute cotton velvet with channel stitching on the outside. It is lined with cotton and plastic on the inside. It comes in white or red. Closure - snaps then ties wtih cotton straps. Monograming is also available. Item #86-9572363. Cost: $19.

Red Envelope:

Stylish elegant light blue leather carrying case. This case has nickel-plated hardware and measures, in inches, 11 x 4 x 3. This size may be a stretch to fit into a carry-on bag for a plane ride, depends on the size of your carry-on, but it is a totally elegant approach to storing and transporting jewelry under other circumstances. Item#201814. Cost:$48.
